Based in the studio. Working with brands and small businesses who care about how they look and what they say.
Kim Hilton — portrait placeholder
Kim Hilton is a photographer and creative director with a background in both visual arts and brand strategy. She founded Kim Hilton Studio after years working across editorial, commercial, and brand photography — realising that the most effective creative work happened when photography, design, and strategy were considered together from the start.
Her clients are typically small to medium-sized businesses who want their visual presence to feel as considered as the product or service they offer. She works with founders, creative directors, and marketing teams who understand that how something looks is part of how it works.
Outside of client work, Kim maintains a personal photography practice — the prints available in the shop are the result of that ongoing work. It keeps her eye sharp and her relationship with the medium honest.
Every project begins with understanding what you're actually trying to say — not just what you want to look like. The best visual work is always rooted in something true.
Good creative work takes time. I don't rush projects and I don't overload my calendar. You get focus, not a production line.
The work I make is designed to be used for years, not months. Visual consistency is one of the most underrated assets a brand can have.
Whether you have a clear brief or just an idea, the first conversation is always free.
